Welcome to the Forge

I'm slowly transitioning my old website over to this blog - a place where I’ll be documenting builds, breaking things, fixing them, and occasionally questioning my life choices somewhere between Nginx configs and compiler design.

Why “The Forge”?

Software is blacksmithing. You take something rough, apply pressure, and refine it until it’s strong.

"Refining iron, one commit at a time."

...and it was the best domain available.

The Pipeline
  • Backend & Systems: Architecture and scale.
  • Infrastructure: Debugging proxy/SSL hell.
  • Compilers: Language design and BedRoc.
  • Obsessions: Whatever breaks next.

If today taught me anything, it’s that even something as “simple” as serving a blog can turn into a multi-layer debugging session involving proxies, SSL modes, and enough redirects to question reality.

So yeah… there will be plenty to write about.
